The Inside Out Leadership program empowers Year 9 students to become self-aware, empathetic leaders who understand the importance of personal growth and relationship-building. At this pivotal point in their high school journey, students are beginning to explore the role they can play as leaders, both in their school community and beyond. The program encourages students to lead by first understanding themselves, their strengths, and the impact they can have on others.

Through self-reflection, goal-setting activities, and engaging decision-making scenarios, students explore the core principles of leadership, such as resilience, empathy, and positive influence. The program helps students navigate challenges, build strong relationships with peers, and recognise the power of leading by example. By the end of the day, students will be equipped with the tools to take ownership of their leadership journey, create a positive impact, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

The program emphasises that leadership isn’t about titles or authority but about understanding oneself and using that understanding to support and inspire others. Students will walk away with a clear sense of how they can take charge of their leadership potential, overcome obstacles, and make decisions that align with their values and goals.
